St. Andrew's School Model UN
Conference

Letter from the Secretary General
Dear Delegates!
We are incredibly excited to announce St. Andrew’s School’s sixth annual Model UN Conference! Over these past few months, we have been working hard to make sure that this experience will be one that is fun, productive and rewarding. We hope that the committees teach, engage, and inspire all delegates as they engage in a day of debate, cooperation, and diplomacy. This conference aims to provide an enriching experience that will challenge both experienced and novice delegates.
The goal of this conference is to promote healthy discourse, challenge set ways of thinking, and reaffirm the importance of diplomacy and communication. When one trains themself to expand their ways of thinking, it creates an individual uniquely prepared to confront conflicts in their lives. It is this ability that will be the tool to create a better more harmonious community, both intimately and globally.
We can't wait to see you!

Regulations
SASMUN VII attempts to facilitate collegiate level-debate for a high school conference. Therefore, we have some regulations that are slightly different from other MUN conferences.
-
All delegates must enter the conference having previously written a position paper.
-
We do not accept pre-written resolutions.
-
We do not allow the use of generative AI.
We ask that all delegates respect these regulations in order to streamline the running of each committee and remain eligible for awards.
